What are Italian Charms? Italian charms are the 21st century twist on the old fashioned charm bracelet.  Most of the charms do not dangle, although you can purchase the dangling variety. You begin with a starter bracelet or watch, then replace the plain individual links with charm links. The most common size of charm is 9mm. The superlinks (the size of two individual links together) and the Mega links (hold two bracelets together) are all compatible with the 9mm bracelets. All of the different manufacturers of the 9mm links are compatible with each other, so you don't have to worry about whether a different brand will fit or not. All charms, starter bracelets, and watches are made of stainless steel.

Be aware, though, that not all charms are created equal! There are different grades of charms, just like any other piece of jewelry. So what makes our charms special? The lasers are DARK, they are not the cheap-looking light colored ones, and are coated to prevent the writing from rubbing off. All of our enamel charms are top quality as well.

Care Instructions: Caring for your charms is easy--just polish occasionally with a soft, dry cloth. They are stainless steel, and will not tarnish like sterling. Substances such as jewelry cleaner and nail polish remover may dull the finish of your charm, and should be avoided. The designs will not be harmed if your charms get wet--however, you SHOULD make it a point to avoid excessive moisture with any charm to keep the spring mechanism inside from being affected.
